Write to us anytime. We meet with anyone whose interest in actuarial work and software engineering is meaningful, whether or not we have an open position.
The message is simple. Write to us anytime, whether or not we are advertising anything. If you are interested in combining actuarial work with software engineering, send a short note about who you are, what you have done, and what you want to do next.
We hire by conversation. The people who join Com-PASS are usually people we have already talked to before a role takes shape, so there is no jobs board on this page and no formal hiring rounds. That gives both sides time to find a real fit.
We are open to any meaningful cooperation: full-time, part-time, internship, or project-based. We will be candid about what fits and what does not, and we will be respectful of your time throughout.
Where to write
A short email is enough. Attach a CV if you have one, or a link to your GitHub or your published work, whatever represents you best. We read what comes in.
A few things worth knowing
- Family-sized team. The team skews young and energetic. Around fifteen people. Everyone has a name to the partners, not a position number. The vibe is collegial and the pace is fast.
- Programmers and actuaries together. You bring the actuarial question or the engineering question. Your colleagues bring the missing half.
- We speak Czech. Our working language inside the team is Czech. If you are a Czech speaker, you will feel at home from day one. English is fine for the application itself.
Who we tend to talk to
Most of the people who join us are graduates or current students of one of these schools, although it is not a requirement:

We also talk to people with experience elsewhere who want to work in a setting where actuarial science and engineering sit side by side.
What working with us looks like
- Flat structure. Two levels of seniority: junior and consultant. Career progression is about the work you do, not titles.
- Hybrid working. Office on Opletalova street in the center of Prague, with mid-term remote job acceptable when work allows.
- Real client work from early on. Juniors sit alongside seniors on live engagements. The learning curve is steep on purpose, and the support around it is genuine.
